This is a really exciting time to join Rochdale.
The Family Support and Protection service holds children and families from Child in Need to care proceedings.
We currently have 8 Family Support and Protection Teams which are led by 2 Heads of Service and 2 Service Managers. As a service, we are working towards a family safeguarding way of working.
Teams will consist of 1 Team Manager, 1 Advanced Practitioner, 5 Social Workers, and 1 Family Support Worker, as well as support from drug, alcohol, and domestic abuse services.
Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of Advanced Practitioners and Social Workers.
