We are adding to the already successful team and searching for a Software and Controls Engineer. Software and Controls Engineer - Key Skills:

Working with PLCs and HMIs; knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens is essential. Knowledge of EPLAN is advantageous but not essential. Hands-on approach is absolutely key. Inputting electrical software systems for new bespoke machinery plus required maintenance, servicing, and repair. Customer exposure - working with customers on-site and managing expectations and delivery. Maximum 25% working offsite throughout the UK and Europe. Thorough admin and reporting skills. Software and Controls Engineer - Attributes:

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter. 3 years minimum experience as an Electrical Engineer (Software/Controls focused) or as an Electrical Software and Controls Engineer. Educated with a recognised apprenticeship. Ability to balance many tasks at the same time; time management is key. Positive attitude and manner. Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationships. Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues. Working with and supporting cross-departmental teams - design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor. UK driving licence is essential; willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
