We are adding to the already successful team and searching for a Software and Controls Engineer. Key Skills:
Working with PLCs and HMIs; knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens is essential. Knowledge of EPLAN is advantageous but not essential. Hands-on approach is absolutely key. Inputting electrical software systems for new bespoke machinery plus required maintenance, servicing, and repair. Customer exposure - working with customers on site and managing expectations and delivery. Maximum 25% working offsite throughout UK and Europe. Thorough admin and reporting skills. Attributes:
Highly motivated self-starter. Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer (Software/Controls focused) or as an Electrical Software and Controls Engineer. Educated with a recognised apprenticeship. Ability to balance many tasks simultaneously; time management is key. Positive attitude and manner. Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationships. Team-oriented and supportive of colleagues. Experience working with and supporting cross-departmental teams – design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor. UK driving licence is essential; willingness to travel UK and overseas.
