We are looking for someone with excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills who has:
In-depth experience with and detailed knowledge of both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
In particular, Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), being an expert in breaking down deliverables via epics and stories to ensure traceability of requirements both functional and non-functional over the delivery. Modelling best agile culture and practice helping to guide continuous improvement across the program.
Understanding of DevOps tooling including Jira, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and other pipeline technologies.
Experience with software engineering best practices for Java, Python, BPEL.
Experience of containerisation concepts and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Experience of system integration methodologies.
Experience of API development and management, including rigorous test and assurance processes.
Good general knowledge of Networking Technologies including load balancing and firewalls.
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server Environments, including OS build, AD, DNS, DHCP and GP from design to implementation and support.
Excellent knowledge of Linux Environments including network administration, and networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS).
Good general knowledge of Microsoft Stack technologies such as MS SQL, MS System Centre, Office365, MS Exchange & CLI tooling such as PowerShell.
Database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
Experience with Web Services, APIs and Data Distribution Protocols.
Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of complex incidents ensuring these are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
