Software Architect (M-ARS, Control Systems) , based in Hatfield. Role: The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust software systems that support the critical operations of rail networks. From improving train management and scheduling to developing safety-critical applications, your expertise will directly contribute to the success of vital projects within the rail sector. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deliver standardised objectives and optimum system solutions Deliver M-ARS product, while maintaining reliability and safety principles Develop new system solutions Technical Team Leadership for system engineers Essential Requirements: MSc or BSc level education in an engineering related subject, preferably software engineering Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a senior software engineering role, with a focus on large-scale systems Ability to liaise with all stakeholders across the project Organisational skills Technical report writing Desirable: Commercial and financial awareness Vitalisation and Cloud Technologies For further information on this fantastic opportunity contact Sam Riley at Advance TRS.
