We are seeking a talented, experienced Software Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming using C#. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your proficiency in C#, along with a knowledge of test automation languages like Selenese, will be essential in creating efficient and effective automation test cases and test suites. VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the QA team, Developers and Product Owners to understand the software requirements and design test cases that validate functionality, performance and usability. Participate in refinement sessions, providing the testing point of view in these sessions. Create automated test cases and test suites. Execute them to identify defects and ensure consistent software quality throughout the development process. Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identifying root causes and resolving these in a timely manner. Integrate test automation into the build and deployment process, ensuring continuous integration and delivery pipelines are properly tested. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation, and actively contribute to improving our testing processes. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

A strong understanding of OOP preferably using C#. Understand the Selenium library and NUnit. Comfortable in using Azure DevOps and Visual Studio. Proficient in API testing using either Insomnia or Postman. A good understanding of the STLC. A minimum qualification of an ISTQB certification. Able to translate complex requirements into comprehensive test cases, considering various scenarios and edge cases. Solid understanding of web technologies, HTTP protocols and error codes.
