Job Context: Taking the challenge to embrace the fast-changing optoelectronic industry! Support the manufacturing test equipment software engineering team to test, analyze, and report data of cutting-edge optoelectronics products and technology for the telecommunication industry. Main Responsibilities: Help establish configurable standardized reports from raw test data or test SQL DB. Assist the software test team in developing new test modules for integration, support, and improvement of current test software. Help establish engineering test DoE’s, data analysis, and compile reports. Skills/Qualifications: Essential: Must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship. BSc or higher degree in software, physics, or a related science. Software skills such as C#, C++, LabVIEW, Python, SQL DB, etc. Demonstrable knowledge/experience of software data analysis and reporting. Flexible attitude to working hours. Excellent English communication skills - written and oral. Minimum internship duration of 9 months. Personal Attributes: Able to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines. Proactive and innovative team player who is also capable of working independently. Displays a positive approach to working and actively seeks to share ideas and information with colleagues. Able to demonstrate attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to ensure prioritization of workloads dovetails with the needs of the business.
