Software Controls Engineer
Location: Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Manchester, Rochdale
Contract: Initial 3-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £40.00p/h - £45.00p/h (Outside IR35)
Job Overview: I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for a Software Controls Engineer to join their business on a contract basis. My client are leaders in designing & supplying equipment and systems into FMCG industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the software code on two HMI conversions, utilising Mitsubishi. On site installation of new software. Developing and editing code from scratch. Full project lifecycle from development through to commission and handover on site. Work autonomously and independently, as well as communicating effectively internally.
Required Attributes: Worked within the food industry on complex projects. Strong background in coding both editing and development. Mitsubishi and/or VIA experience. Strong customer-facing skills.
Benefits: Outside IR35 - Limited co. contractors. Excellent purpose-built state of the art facilities. Day shifts working Monday to Friday.
