Role Overview: In this position, you will report to the Controls and Automation Manager and will be instrumental in supporting multiple departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Train staff on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and assist with customer demonstrations. Conduct pre-order research and participate in control design meetings. Write control specification documents and maintain project documentation. Interpret electrical schematics and integrate hardware with HMIs. Design and develop software for control systems using various platforms. Optimize existing software and assist with recipe management and reporting. Modify and commission systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer training and support. Collaborate with team members on projects and assist with breakdowns as needed.
