Software Developer Permanent Chorley (Full Time On Site) My client is looking for a software developer to facilitate the improvement of their in house developed applications. The Software Developer will join an existing team both working on new functionality and maintaining/improving existing features. This encompasses both front and Back End technologies for web and mobile, plus API and service architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Software Development: Working within the development team to produce applications across web, mobile and server. Writing code that adheres to our development standards and applications that adhere to our security guidelines. Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Peer reviewing code as part of a team. Maintaining existing software and assisting with the infrastructure team as part of a DevOps environment and communicating with relevant stakeholders. Working with the Reporting and Analysis teams to ensure that our databases and reports are performing correctly with new functional development. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the life cycle from requirements to post go live. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Essential .NET/NET Framework - C#, Entity Framework, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS Azure DevOps using Git for source control Strong drive for success. Desirable Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL). SQL Server Reporting Services. Microsoft Power BI.
