Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be exposed to a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and methodologies, allowing you to cultivate a well-rounded skill set. A day in the life can involve: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise solutions Learning and applying best practices in software development Contributing to real-world projects that impact millions of customers globally Analysing and solving complex technical challenges Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality Implementing software security measures and compliance Staying updated with the latest software development trends and emerging technologies Minimum Requirements
For the apprenticeship programme, we prioritise applicants eligible for government funding. You need to: Be 18 years or over before the start date Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme). Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English Plus a minimum of 3 A-Levels at grades AAB. Alternatively, A-Level grades ABB if subjects include either A-Level Mathematics or Computer Science. Additional Information
PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 42-month fixed-term contract. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.
