About the role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer (C#) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to contribute to the development of robust software solutions, support junior engineers, and participate in "blue-sky" projects for professional growth and technology exploration. You will have the opportunity to lead larger epics, engage in architectural design, and play a significant role in shaping our products.

Key responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with Product Owners, Lead Engineers, and Development Managers to design and develop key features, continuously enhancing both customer and developer experiences. Building a thorough understanding of the product domain will be essential to ensure that our solutions truly meet customer needs. You will provide reliable estimates, identify risks, and offer clear justifications for your approaches. Research and innovation are integral to this role, and you'll be responsible for conducting feasibility studies on new technologies and approaches, with designated "blue-sky" time to advance your skills and stay informed on industry trends. Quality and standards are at the heart of our work. You will ensure that all solutions meet company, market, and regulatory standards, delivering on schedule and addressing any delays proactively. Peer code reviews will help maintain our high standards, and your contributions will support our commitment to continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the broader development team, engage fully in team meetings, and assist with bug investigation and resolution to support external customers. Adherence to Health and Safety protocols, as well as ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, is required, along with following company policies and sharing weekly progress reports.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in software development, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to quality, excellent communication skills, and a desire to continually improve and innovate. Candidates will be experienced in using C#.
