We are seeking a Software Engineer to join MetaCompliance. In this role, you will work with a passionate and driven team to develop innovative and award-winning software that addresses cybersecurity awareness in the global market. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, people, and our customers. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the Microsoft Development stack, a solid understanding of front-end development frameworks (Angular, React, JavaScript), an excellent knowledge of design/architectural patterns, and be passionate about good engineering principles. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for software engineering and a love of modern development practices. We are looking for someone who is talented, ambitious, and organised, with a proven track record of delivering real results. It is not necessary to have experience in cybersecurity, but an interest in the Cyber Security industry is a plus. Essential Criteria:

3+ years working as a software engineer in an Agile Environment Deep understanding of the Microsoft Development stack (ASP.NET, C#, Azure SQL, Azure App Services) Solid understanding of front-end development frameworks such as Angular or React. Passionate about writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code. Well-versed in agile ceremonies such as backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Experience with source control management such as git. Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes. Proficient with Stored Procedures and Entity Framework and T-SQL. Experience with Test Driven Development. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent Personal Attributes:

Passion for software engineering and creating software products. The ability to simplify complex problems and communicate them effectively. Objectivity when evaluating ideas and plans. Adaptability to change and unexpected challenges. What We Don't Want:

Someone who prioritizes delivery over high-quality clean code. Working at MetaCompliance is not everyone’s cup of tea. We believe that to create a product with personality and impact you must strive harder and push boundaries. We want our people to do the same. We're directly competing against the biggest player in the Security Awareness Training market – a huge, publicly listed, American company. They have more money and more people, so we need to work harder, be smarter, more nimble and take more risks to have impact. Think David vs Goliath. Our Culture:

A bias for action is favored so perfection is impossible. We don’t believe in wishful thinking. Our culture is pinned on Extreme Ownership – a book that details how Navy SEALs lead and win. Yes, you will be expected to read it. No, we're not kidding. We don’t require someone easily offended as we need to explore innovative and edgy discussions. We want someone who is a bit of craic! Not everything you will do will work. If it does, you weren’t trying hard enough. If you are up for the challenge of joining a vibrant team of like-minded individuals, we would love to hear from you.
