Software Engineer Didcot £45,000 – £50,000 + Training + Pension An excellent opportunity awaits a software engineer with strong Visual Basic experience to join an organisation focused on developing cutting-edge technologies in a role that offers great upskilling opportunities and room for growth. This company develops innovative technological solutions that support a wide range of applications in research and healthcare. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, focusing on developing a new application using your expertise in Visual Basic for Windows applications. You will lead the continuous development of this new project. Due to the diverse nature of the role, you will work closely with the team and also have the opportunity to work with hardware and embedded code. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing Windows applications using Visual Basic. Any previous experience working with embedded firmware or hardware integration is a benefit, but not essential. The right person for this role will be looking for an opportunity to develop professionally within a tight-knit, research-oriented team. This role is based 5 days a week in Didcot with flexibility around working hours and working from home. The Role:

Design and develop Windows applications using Visual Basic. Lead the continuous development of a new application. Work within a multidisciplinary, research-focused team. Office-based role, 5 days a week in Didcot. The Person:

Strong experience in Windows application development using Visual Basic. Desirable: Experience with embedded firmware and electronics. Desirable: Experience working with hardware integration.
