Role: Software Engineer (C#/Azure)

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000

Hybrid Working: 1 day per week in the office

Location: Stafford/Telford


The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Software Engineer to join a large programme of work within Financial Services alongside the DigX team, who have gone through a number of acquisitions. They are building a new data layer using C# and Azure API Management (APIM) to integrate data from various systems across the group, connecting to a new front-end application to service customer needs.


This is a new project with significant planning already completed, and we now need several integration engineers to join the team—could that include you?


What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and implement integrations using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Design and Develop CI/CD processes using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub actions to deploy into Azure Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and performance standards are met in all integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support and maintenance.
  • Contribute to QA automation efforts to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and optimise the performance of integration solutions to ensure efficiency and scalability.


What You Will Need as the Software Engineer

To be considered for this Software Engineer role, you’ll need strong experience building APIs in C# using APIM, working to integrate data from various sources. You should be comfortable using a range of Azure features such as Logic Apps and Functions. Experience with building authentication solutions is highly valuable.


Additionally, you must have previously worked as an integration engineer in complex, regulated environments, ideally within financial services.
