Requirements: We require candidates to have experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Springboot, Python, JavaScript, or Typescript. You should be proficient in unit testing with tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, Behave, or their equivalents. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is essential, specifically with Cucumber and Gherkin. Additionally, experience with containerization (Docker), cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), microservices architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Ansible or Terraform is necessary. DV Clearance in the West is an absolute must for these roles; please only apply if you possess this clearance.
Your responsibilities are: As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with our team to develop and maintain software solutions for our clients in the defence sector. You will be expected to contribute to the design and implementation of software systems, ensuring high-quality code through unit testing and adherence to best practices. You will collaborate with other engineers to build and deploy applications, utilizing microservices and cloud technologies to enhance system functionality. Your role will also involve engaging in discussions around requirements and technical specifications, participating in code reviews, and supporting the continuous integration and delivery processes.

The permanent salary for these roles ranges from £70,000 to £80,000, or a daily rate of £500 outside IR35 for contract options. The initial contract term will be for 6 months, with an option for a rolling contract thereafter. We offer a benefits package for permanent employees.
