Software Engineering Manager

for our

Organise

team, you’ll oversee the migration of a critical rostering solution to the cloud, modernising the codebase from legacy languages to a cutting-edge stack. Your leadership will empower a talented team of developers to meet technical challenges head-on while shaping a product that saves lives daily. Your Impact: This isn’t just another management role. Organise is more than a scheduling tool – it’s the backbone of emergency response infrastructure.

By leading this transformation, you’ll help deliver a faster, more efficient, and more reliable product, directly impacting the lives of emergency responders and the communities they protect. What You’ll Be Doing: You will lead a high-performing Agile team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Your technical leadership will be pivotal in guiding the team through the modernisation of Organise, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Working closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders, you will align technical requirements with strategic business goals while overseeing the full development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment. You will also play a key role in ensuring delivery milestones are met, providing visibility to senior management and supporting the team in resolving complex technical issues. Skills and Experience: We’re looking for an

experienced and inspiring leader in software development , ideally with a background in

SaaS , to guide our talented team. A technical background is a must,

including a strong understanding of .NET technologies

and solid experience with

Agile methodologies, project management, and modern software development principles.

You’ll have a

proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget,

and familiarity with

cloud migration and legacy code modernisation

is a big plus. With exceptional communication skills and a strategic, results-driven mindset, you’ll motivate your team to excel while collaborating seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
