WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Software Development Manager to join an established LegalTech business in West Yorkshire. You'll be joining a talented team who are committed to creating a working environment and culture that is open and empowers colleagues, where everyone feels supported and can be their best selves. Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage the Application development strategy. Lead on technical solution designs and architectural standards to support the business’s short- and long-term objectives. Accountable for designing and delivering high-quality application solutions through direct line management of the internal development team of 6 Developers and Testing teams. Collaborate with the Head of Digital Operations and Delivery Manager to deliver a technology product and service environment that propels the business forward. Required Technical Skills: Application development experience using .NET, C#. Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript including Angular or React. Strong experience in designing cloud-native applications and architectures. Strong background in API design and integration patterns. Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and modern deployment practices. Strong knowledge of development management tooling and approaches, including code control, collaboration, and test automation. Comprehensive Microsoft stack knowledge. Extensive experience in managing and deploying in-house developed applications. Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in solution design and architecture (business and systems). A good understanding of Low Code technologies and their implementation within a business environment. Experience and understanding of cloud data architecture and solutions. Additional Skills: Keeps abreast of technology developments with a curiosity to identify new ways of working. Able to inspire business leaders and colleagues on the use of current and future applications. Experience in leading IT Development teams and Test functions. Good interpersonal skills to analyze situations against the bigger picture. Strong influencing skills and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on knowledge sharing. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to work under indirect supervision. Broad understanding of information technology topics. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability. Salary & Benefits: There is a very competitive package with a starting salary of up to £80,000, alongside 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays. There's a 5% Pension contribution. It’s a 35-hour working week, and the team takes health and wellbeing very seriously. The role will be based from a West Yorkshire Head Office with the offer of homeworking up to 4 days a week and flexible working that encourages a healthy work-life balance.
