Job Description: Are you passionate about technology and education? Ready to shape the future of software engineering and inspire the next generation of tech innovators? Join our Software Engineering & Teaching Programme and enjoy the best of both worlds: working in a cutting-edge industry leader and studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) to become a qualified teacher. Over 3 years you’ll work at Skyscanner for up to 6 months, then pursue a full-time PGDE course, followed by 3 days at Skyscanner & 2 days teaching Computer Science per week. If you want to make a real impact, both in tech and in the classroom, this programme is for you. Education:

The opportunity to complete a full-time PGDE in Computer Science course at the University of Glasgow. Experience And Qualifications: As part of the PGDE qualification requirements you need to have: Higher English and Nat 5 maths (or equivalent) A degree with at least 80 SCQF credit points, 40 of these credit points must be at Year 2 Level. The 80 credit points should be from at least two of the following: Computer Systems Software Development Databases Information Systems

You will also need 40 SCQF credits in a computing subject relevant to the Computing curriculum taught in Scottish schools. More information about the PGDE requirements can be found
