Upon joining, you will become a part of a dynamic team engaged in weekly release cycles, diligently identifying and resolving bugs in the code. Location:

Cambridge – 3 days in office Salary:

£30,000 – £50,000 per annum + excellent benefits (£30k – £35 for a new Graduate, £50k for experienced) Minimum Requirements for Software QA Engineer – Graduate considered: A minimum of a 2.1 bachelors from a top tier International University in a STEM subject such as Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering etc – Maths & Physics based subjects tend to do well At least AAB at A-Level (or equivalent UCAS points) Meticulous attention to detail Love of problem-solving Picks up technical concepts very quickly Ideally some manual or automated testing experience (not essential) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Software QA Engineer Responsibilities – Graduate considered: Serving as a vital bridge between Development and Product teams, comprehending product specifications, and ensuring anticipated behaviour. Posing hypothetical scenarios to validate software performance during exploratory testing. Employing a keen investigative mindset to uncover overlooked edge cases and user workflows. Crafting comprehensive manual test sets to guarantee broad coverage. Identifying testing areas needing improvement. Vigilantly tracking metrics to gauge the quality of each release, assessing its performance on production systems. Formulating tests to validate the product’s end-to-end functionality. Understanding and addressing defects as they arise, contributing to their resolution, and expanding QA systems to pre-empt any potential recurrence in the future.
