What you would do as our Software Support Specialist EMEIA Openings Studio is ASSA ABLOY’s unique BIM-enabled cloud solution that helps architects, suppliers, installers, contractors, building owners, facilities managers, and more to design, specify and maintain openings throughout the entire building lifecycle. The EMEIA division is looking to appoint a Software Support Specialist to join an established team supporting a growing Openings Studio user base and community. This newly created role will report to the BIM Development Manager EMEIA and will involve working closely with the global Openings Studio development team and the Openings Studio leads across all market regions to ensure defined support level is met through best customer experience. You would also: Become a subject matter expert in Openings Studio and practice as EMEIA level support fulfiller (troubleshoot, resolve and escalate as appropriate while ensuring agreed support and service level is met). Escalate and liaise with Openings Studio global support and development team based in the USA. Coordinate any technical aspects required to stand-up new regions/countries in the application. Launch new releases, implement upgrades, or other maintenance tasks. Support the implementation of advanced features and capabilities such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: Has strong computer, analytical, and organizational skills. Is a problem solver that can work quickly and methodically and has a positive take-charge attitude. Has good communication skills with the ability to work with people from multi-cultural teams within a matrix environment. Has experience in one or more of the following, which is a plus: Openings Studio, SQL data restores, SSRS development, and maintenance. Has knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture or GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD software; it is a plus.
