Software Team Lead

As a Software Team Lead, you live and breathe leading technical teams from the front; ensuring best practice and delivery whilst gaining exposure to an increasingly interesting customer base. Your knowledge will be deep, and you will use it to define novel technical approaches to mission-critical projects that keep the country safe. This isn’t sat in middle management delivering performance reviews, appraisals, or sitting through disciplinary meetings; it’s an opportunity to challenge yourself technically at the forefront of innovation whilst mentoring the next generation. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges. As our next Software Team Lead, you’ll be leading technically from the front but will also have the opportunity to: Engage with customers Prepare and contribute to technical proposals or bids Support the customer account team with business development Cross-coordinate with delivery management to escalate risks, plan deliveries, and support resourcing. The Key Requirements... Experience leading teams delivering software projects in Agile, customer-facing environments.
