An opportunity to join a company going through growth looking to hire a hands-on technical leader to drive technology and change. This role will lead a team of super talented multi-skilled engineers while still getting involved technically.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery, Technical and People Leadership. Run a team of engineers (circa 3, will grow) proficient in a range of technologies including Full stack (JavaScript, React), Back End (C#, .NET Core) and Cloud (Azure/Azure Functions). Responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Skills Required: Technical strengths in C#, .NET Core, and Azure. Experience with JavaScript/React is ideal. Ability to inspire and lead talented engineers to build innovative solutions. Technical depth and strength. Software engineering background ideally in the Microsoft stack. Practical experience managing TDD, automation, CICD, and OOP.
Ideally, you will also have: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps Pipelines. Knowledge of containerization (Docker). Experience with serverless computing within Azure (e.g., Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions). Strong experience in building system integrations.
