My client is a very successful and dynamic Software and Solutions company who have recently secured a number of new contract wins. In line with their growth plans, they now require an additional Software Test Analyst to join their Test function. This is a lovely opportunity for a candidate to grow their testing skills – as the Test Manager is looking for a keen and passionate tester who’s looking to develop and progress within their fast moving and forward thinking organisation. You will be responsible for the preparation of Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Data. These testing activities will be a mixture of manual and automated processes which will assess system aspects.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Preparation of Test Cases and Test Scripts.
Preparation of Test Data.
Execution of testing activities, both manual and automated.
Ensure Daily Execution Reports are always produced when execution is ongoing.
Give accurate and clear test estimates with appropriate justification when required.
Criteria:
Ideally a relevant technology degree (or equivalent experience)
Solid experience gained in a similar position in a similar Software Test role
Software test experience gained with big systems
A passion for technology and a drive to expand knowledge of testing and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and good relationship builder
Ability to prioritise own work and managing time effectively to meet strict deadlines.
A solid understanding of Microsoft products such as the standard MS Office suite.
ITSQB or ISEB certification is desirable but not essential
