My client is a well-established designer and manufacturer of high-end consumer electronics. They are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join their R&D team.
Main Duties:
Working closely with the Software Development team to develop test plans to identify issues and ensure compliance with product specifications. Assisting the production team with the development of cutting-edge features and platforms. Regression testing on existing products. Learning and utilising existing test automation procedures. Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience testing software (embedded systems would be advantageous). Experience working in Linux. Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python. Experience with electronic testing (e.g., using oscilloscopes, multimeters) is beneficial but not essential. The salary for this position will be circa £35k to £45k depending on the experience of the candidate.
