Role Summary: Job Title - Software Tester Industry - MedTech Working Set-Up - Initially 5 days per week in office (Carnforth, Lancaster). 3 days in office per week after probation Salary - Up to £35,000 per annum Interview process - 2 stages The Role: We are excited to be working with a growing MedTech who are looking to expand their QA / Support team! This company specializes in life and business-critical software engineering and database development services targeted at hospitals and medical labs. Their clients also benefit from 24/7/365 support and maintenance services, which is all run out of their Cumbria offices! The business is employee-owned and boasts an exceptional staff retention rate. This role will report into the Testing and Support Manager. You'll be responsible for both the quality assurance of their product suite, as well as ongoing customer support. This is a varied and exciting role that will give the successful candidate a high degree of autonomy and self-management opportunities! Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: Involvement in the full software testing lifecycle Creating and developing test schedules Implementation and integration of new processes Working closely with colleagues, suppliers, and end users to ensure software testing meets requirements Analysing and interpreting project requirements Following internal procedures defined within the company's in-house quality systems which conform to ISO9001 and ISO27001 The Person: 2+ years experience working in a similar role Knowledge of Azure DevOps Knowledge of Swagger / Postman (or similar) Experience with Javascript (Desirable) Automation testing experience (desirable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability and desire to occasionally work in a customer-facing capacity Interview Process: 1st stage - Video Interview 2nd stage - Face to face interview with the hiring team Important Notice: Both Leo Technology and the companies we partner with are incredibly passionate about building environments where people from all backgrounds and walks of life are embraced.
