As a Software Tester with the DFS group, you'll dive into creating and running tests across different platforms, teaming up with developers, and exploring all kinds of testing. You'll track results, keep things on schedule, and get the chance to travel to project sites for some hands-on pilot testing!

A day in the life of a Software Tester, you will be: Writing test plans and test cases Executing manual and automated tests Testing in different environments and platforms Performing and assisting with different testing types, including functional, UAT, regression, and risk-based testing Working with software developers and project teams Participating in test reviews to identify issues and provide recommendations Working in line with estimates and deadlines Documenting test processes, test results, and evidence Travelling to different project sites for pilots on occasion

In an ideal world, you will have the following experience: Experience with testing methodologies and tools, preferably Jira and Postman Experience in testing desktop applications and SQL queries Ability to work thoroughly and methodically, both in preparing test plans and following them through Educated to at least BTEC National Diploma level ISTQB Certification preferable Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good understanding of business systems and their processes
