Cognizant Burgess Hill, England, United Kingdom We are seeking a software developer with hands-on experience in React JS / Node JS. In this role, you will: Work with your teammates to agreed timescales and standards; working closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and UX design. Develop new end-to-end dashboard features using Node.js and React.js. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile product team designing and building dashboards using a modern technology stack with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies/paradigms and implement solutions across the full stack. Challenge code, design, and implementation to ensure they are of the highest quality, in line with HSBC and industry standards. Maintain and develop good, clear communications and relationships as appropriate with development team members and stakeholders. Engage in active collaboration with the product owner and senior stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall product efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Strong experience in the software industry with a focus on Node JS, React JS, and Automation. In-depth knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, utilities, and other technologies used by the team (React & Node JS). Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Experience working in Git and continuous integration/deployment environments. Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on product roadmap status and addressing concerns proactively. Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
