Our client is looking to hire a fantastic Solar PV Electrician to join their team. The salary for this role is up to £45,000 plus a bonus.
Main responsibilities for the Solar Electrician role:
Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues. Plan and commission installations, indoor and outdoor electrical control, and wiring. Visit installations both internal and external to inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers. Visit customer sites to support their growth in solar. Ensure that electrical systems adhere to national electrical safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications for the Solar Electrician role:
Minimum of 2 years solar industry experience. Full driving license required. Level 3 in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings. BPEC - Installation & maintenance of small-scale solar PV systems. 18th Edition. City & Guilds requirement for electrical installations (18th Edition) (BS7671 Level 3). City & Guilds fundamental inspection, testing & initial verification (Level 2). Solar PV Installers and Battery Storage Course (Level 3) desired but not essential. NAPIT accredited.
