The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior PV Electrician to carry out Solar PV and Battery storage installations across domestic and commercial properties. This hands-on position is perfect for an electrician looking to specialise further in renewable energy, focusing on delivering high-quality installations and ensuring system compliance with all technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install Solar PV and Battery storage systems for domestic and commercial clients. Perform general electrical installations when required. Conduct system commissioning, including network setup and app integration. Test and inspect electrical systems, completing app-based certification and handover documentation. Ensure compliance with all on-site health and safety procedures. Support site surveys and project assessments with technical expertise. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring readiness for each project.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a skilled electrician with experience in Solar PV systems and a commitment to quality work.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Electrician (minimum Level 3) with 18th Edition certification. Experience installing Solar PV and Battery storage systems. Competence in testing, inspections, and certification. A full UK driving licence. Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with NIC/EIC accreditation processes. Knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical systems. Experience with general electrical installations.
