Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in installing solar panels and supporting the transition to sustainable energy solutions on new build sites across the East Midlands. There will be occasional travel to facilitate jobs further a field and time spent traveling will be compensated. You will be required to work away as and when required but not regularly.
Duties
- Install solar panels on new build residential and commercial properties
- Work with power tools to secure panels in place
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to assemble mounting structures
- Compliant installation of Viridian and GSE mounting systems
- Testing of installed DC cables once installed
- Proficient use of mobile app to document installation
- Punctual and safety conscious
Qualifications
- Previous experience in solar panel installation is essential
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- CSCS card holder
- Experience with in-roof systems preferable but not essential as training provided
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems is desirable
We are offering a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, pension scheme, fully expensed company van and training provided if required. Overtime is available.

Pay: £32,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
