Solar PV Designer - Colchester

are working with an industry leading renewable energy partner based in Essex who operate across the infrastructure, electrical and commercial solar industry, who are now looking to appoint a Solar PV Designer due to growth. The Role: Based from the office close to Colchester, you will be working alongside a Senior designer and assisted by the wider team, responsible for designing various Solar PV systems across the commercial and domestic market. Projects will range in size from a 100kW residential scheme through to a standalone 5mW roof top solar project, but will include roof top, ground mount and occasionally car port systems. You will be working on the company's own projects as well as undertaking third party designs, undertaking all tasks necessary in order to produce a Solar PV Design Proposal for a range of domestic and commercial sized systems. The Candidate: We are looking for someone with previous Solar PV Design experience, with sound knowledge of both domestic and commercial Solar PV systems. Knowledge of PV*Sol is preferred, as is someone with prior experience in making DNO applications. Knowledge of working on large residential schemes, battery storage or EV Charging systems would be advantageous.
