Solar PV Engineers Edinburgh £37,500 - £41,500 DOE The Recruitment Bunker is proud to be working exclusively with the McDermott Group to support their ongoing growth. Due to expansion and the recent win of a significant contract, we are seeking skilled Solar PV Engineers to join their dynamic team in Scotland. As a Solar PV Engineer, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimisation of solar photovoltaic systems. This involves working on rooftops or ground-mounted systems to deliver renewable energy solutions. Overview of the Role Solar PV Engineers Salary £37,500 - £41,500 Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days Pension Employee Referral Scheme Company Van and Fuel Card 10% Discount Trade Card Location Edinburgh Responsibilities Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Install solar PV panels, inverters, and related equipment Conduct system testing and performance assessments Troubleshoot and repair existing solar systems Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations Educate on system operations and maintenance where required Essential Skills Experience of working as a Solar PV Engineer and hold relevant qualifications Knowledge of solar PV technology and electrical systems Ability to work safely at heights Strong problem-solving skills Understanding of renewable energy regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing time effectively Clean Full UK driving license Clear Disclosure Scotland Check Must have IDLR/Full Rights to work in UK.
