Solar Sales Consultant We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Sales Consultant to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering compelling sales presentations, providing accurate assessments, and finding the best solutions for potential clients, to include Solar Photovoltaic and battery storage systems. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. Honesty, integrity, and a passion for the product are essential attributes for success in this role. Key responsibilities: Conduct sales presentations to potential domestic and commercial clients, advising them on the benefits of solar energy and battery storage solutions. Gather relevant data such as roof dimensions, shading analysis, electrical system specifications, and storage requirements to provide accurate assessments. Provide comprehensive and accurate quotations based on customer requirements, including battery storage options. Understand customer needs and design systems to meet those requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Achieve assigned sales targets in a timely manner, promoting both solar and battery storage packages. Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar and storage systems. Complete administrative compliance before and after installation. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions, and report regularly on sales performance. Experience and personal attributes: Previous experience in solar sales or a technical field is preferred, but not essential. Technical understanding of solar energy systems, battery storage systems, and their components, preferred, but not essential. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong mathematical and English skills for accurate calculations, quotations, and written communication. Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude. Ability to understand and explain technical information. Proficiency in IT and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
