Solicitor - Employment Law (Part-Time)
We are collaborating with a reputable law firm in Belfast to recruit an experienced Employment Law Solicitor with a strong background in employment tribunals. The ideal candidate will adeptly handle a diverse caseload covering all facets of employment law, such as discrimination and unfair dismissal cases. This position demands a proactive professional committed to delivering exceptional legal services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of employment matters. Draft tribunal proceedings and pleadings, collate discovery, prepare witness statements, and compile briefs for counsel and trial bundles. Assist in the preparation and negotiation of employment contracts, policies, and procedures. Stay current with developments in employment law to ensure clients receive up-to-date advice. Maintain excellent file management and utilise case management programs effectively. Essential Criteria:
Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland. Demonstrable experience in providing employment law advice. Strong understanding of Industrial Tribunal practice and procedure in Northern Ireland. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in case management software and strong organisational skills.
