JOB TITLE: Solicitor (In-house)

NQ+ LOCATION:
Newcastle (Hybrid 3 days in office)
THE ROLE:
Our client, a global business, is looking for a Solicitor NQ - 3 years’ PQE to join their established in-house legal team. The primary focus of this role will be to provide day-to-day commercial contract support across the business. It will also include advising on a range of legal matters impacting their business (claims administration, debt recovery work, and ad hoc miscellaneous). You would be part of a small and dynamic team, working together and individually across the region.
THE CANDIDATE:
NQ – 3 years PQE. Relevant experience either in private practice or in-house. Good practical experience of the application of legal principles and commercial law. Legal experience of construction law preferably gained in a consultancy environment or with a client/contractor (nice to have). Great analytical skills and excellent legal knowledge. Ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance competing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
