DWF LLP is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Solicitor to join our growing Professional Liability team with experience advising insurers and defending professionals in respect of allegations of professional negligence. The successful candidate will be based in our Leeds office with the option of our hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of partners, to progress the defence of multiple pre-action and litigated claims. Advise insurers and professionals in respect of claims made against a wide range of professionals. Embrace policy coverage advice, all forms of dispute resolution and assist with disciplinary proceedings. Be responsible for carrying out disclosure review, preparation of costs budgets and instructions to counsel and experts. Prepare court documents including Claim Forms, Defences and Allocation Questionnaires.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential Experience of commercial litigation and professional negligence claims in particular. Excellent attention to detail and diligence to be able to carefully analyse information. Flexibility and adaptability in your attitude & approach and good organisational skills. Strong technical skills and a thorough grasp of principles, case law and Civil Procedure Rules.
