The Department Our specialist private client team is renowned for advising on wills, wealth protection, capital tax planning, complex estate administration, trusts, and elderly client matters. We also offer high-quality advice on family matters, litigation, property, and commercial issues. The Role Provide tailored legal services to a range of clients, including those from farming backgrounds. Manage a portfolio of clients, anticipating their needs in wills, trusts, tax planning, and probate. Main Responsibilities Provide high-quality, proactive legal advice. Manage a mixed caseload with appropriate supervision. Achieve fee targets and assist team members in doing so. Deliver cost-efficient legal services using technology. Enhance the firm's reputation through professional and community activities. Participate in marketing initiatives and events. Assist senior lawyers and develop your own client portfolio. Private Client Services Drafting wills. Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on Deputyships and Court of Protection applications. Advising on basic Inheritance Tax Planning. Administering estates, including intestacy, with minimal supervision. Supporting senior team members and managing their cases during absences.
