Solutions Architect

to join us at Honeywell in the UK. As Solutions Architect, you will provide primary technical pre-sales support to Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services partners and/or End Users in one or more regions assigned to you. You will be based in one of Honeywell offices or out of your home office. The role requires regular travel, primarily to customer and partner locations. This position would suit a focused and motivated pre-sales consultant who can prove a strong technical background of barcode data collection terminals, wireless technologies, and barcode readers. Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to be recognised as the trusted technical advisor. Ability to select from the full solution from the Honeywell PSS products and services portfolio that best fits the customer needs. Project manage and support pilot installations, coordinating installation activities with various internal and external support groups, addressing and elevating any technical issues promptly. Ensure that your assigned sales representatives understand the features and function set of each Honeywell PSS product and solution. Develop training plans in accordance with the Solution Architect leader, to ensure that all assigned partners have the right knowledge to propose and support the HSPS products portfolio. Keep the CRM system up to date with all presales related activity including (but not limited to) projects, technical profile, customer visits, PCR and SKU requirements. Take responsibility for the data integrity in the system. Be able to report weekly performance to the Solution Architect Regional team manager, with focus on specific issues and customer needs that could negatively impact the sales goals achievement. Furthermore, project progress, pilot status and at all times, understand the health of the business being managed. Desirable Skills

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or a technology-related discipline, or 6-10 years professional experience, including 3-5 years in customer-related sales support activities among which analysing customer business needs. Strong pre-sales management skills including thorough knowledge of the sales process. Technical skills should include

label printers/printer languages , network connectivity, wireless networks, bar-code, data capture & MDM/EMM knowledge. The ability to prepare a business plan outlining the salient points of development with specific customers. Fluent in English. Full UK driving license. Our Offer
