A Snapshot of your Day

We are looking for a highly expert Customer Solution Architect to join our Control and Digitalization team based at one of our offices around Europe. Work closely with the Head of Digitalization to craft and complete projects for Control and Siemens Energy's automation, control systems, and digital solutions. The role requires sales, tendering support and project management skills with proven team-working experience in a matrix organization.

How You’ll Make An Impact

This is a highly technical role. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conceptual design and engineering of customer solutions for potential projects Design, develop, factory acceptance testing and onsite commissioning of hardware and software solutions using Omnivise-T3000, WinCC, SCADA solutions, Hybrid Plant controller and other Siemens Energy’s automation & digital platforms Network and system architecture design and administration Working with product teams to ensure customer solution is feasible and provide feedback for product development. Estimate project influences and risks and evaluate them technically Provide technical recommendations and decisions to Siemens Energy and to customers based on clear understanding of the customers' business and operational environment Ensure open, regular and effective communication with stakeholders Assist Sales and Bid Managers technically in tender preparation for conventional and innovative applications fields as hybrid plants, substations, district heating, batteries, Power2X, wind, fleet management etc. Proactively promote innovation, improvements, risk identification and safety management

What You Bring

Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Extensive experience in design and commissioning of large-scale industrial automation. Demonstrated experience in automation products such as Omnivise-T3000, WinCC and other SCADA and Digitalization solutions for an OT environment. Knowledge of IEC 62443, IEC 61850, IEC 60870 would be an advantage Willingness to travel within Europe & Africa region.

In our Digitalization Team, we serve as ambassadors to the market and tailor solutions based on Digitalization portfolio to support customer’s goals. Digitalization Portfolio consists of several portfolio segments: Cyber Security, Performance, Asset Management and Energy Management. We are a matrix team spread over Europe & Africa Region.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
