Overall Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to design routing solutions in line with the development needs of the business. The role will focus on the effective use of Planning Software systems to ensure all new business opportunities are planned effectively while remaining efficient across the MDL Network in the UK and Ireland. Additionally, the role will focus on the optimisation of current business to ensure the best routing plans are produced in line with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Use route planning and optimization systems effectively. Collaborate with Central Operations to develop planning solutions. Communicate new locker activities and changes to relevant teams. Analyze and produce KPI reports to support business changes. Provide routing support to the Operations team and generate reports for senior leadership.

Processes: Apply best practices in route design and planning software. Support locker onboarding and provide route options as needed. Ensure decision-making is supported through system-generated reports.

Customer & Finance: Liaise with MDL branches to improve ecommerce contract performance and customer service. Create cost-effective route plans and explore lower-cost alternatives.

Key Skills & Competencies: Experience with Route Planning Software (desirable). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information: The role may evolve based on business needs and will be reviewed periodically. Flexibility to take on other duties as required by management. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
