The Solution Specialist, EMEA for Global Trade Services (GTS) will support the long-term objectives of revenue, market share, and product usage for SAP’s GTS solutions in the EMEA region. This role involves driving the development and execution of business, financial, and strategic objectives, with a special focus on demand generation and deal support. The expert will evangelize these solutions both internally and externally to maximize revenue and margins from the market units. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: The role as a GTS Solution Expert is pivotal for the continued success of our oCFO products for the Digital Economy. Focus for this role will be on SAP’s ‘Global Trade Services’ suite of solutions. The key tasks are the following: Act as a trusted advisor for SAP GTS across EMEA, providing expertise and entrepreneurial thinking. Support sales with presentations and custom demos to drive large, strategic digital transformation deals. Continuously self-enable on SAP GTS solutions. Align and collaborate with the EMEA oCFO Solution Advisory team. Identify key trends and priorities in the GTS domain. Increase personal profile as a GTS expert through social media. Define target markets and develop a solution strategy in alignment with the global SAP oCFO team. Present and demo at events to diverse audiences, potentially up to several hundred people. Create compelling demo scenarios and support the global ‘solution experience’ team. Offer a distinctive value-based selling approach in partnership with field sales. Plan and manage demand generation actions, ensuring strategic execution. Enable and encourage the partner ecosystem regarding SAP GTS. Leverage best practice programs, tools, methods, and processes available globally. Work effectively in an international, cross-functional, and matrixed environment. Act as a solution expert and trusted advisor to key customers in EMEA. WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in roles related to SAP GTS. Domain expertise and passion for the topic. Sales/presales experience is an advantage. Deep product knowledge of SAP solutions such as SAP GTS, Watch List Screening, SAP S/4HANA International Trade Management is a plus. Experience in a corporate trade management department is advantageous. Experience conducting executive workshops aligning diverse perspectives and expectations. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Executive communication skills (English required). Strong analytical skills and structured self-management. Experience leading and orchestrating execution of cross-functional and virtual teams. Exceptional influence and impact skills, and ability to coach teams (often virtually). Deep understanding of economic figures, company KPIs, and financial strategy discussions. Comprehensive business knowledge of target audiences.
