Solution Architect - BIM and CDE Specialist Contract 1 Day a month in the office - Warwick 3-6 Months Initially Industry Background: The construction industry is undergoing a significant transformation driven by digitalisation and the adoption of new technologies such as BIM and CDE. As organisations increasingly prioritise data-driven decision-making, the demand for professionals who can navigate complex architectural frameworks and deliver robust solutions is growing. A skilled Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in spearheading these initiatives, ensuring that project goals are met while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver architectural solutions using recognised standards such as TOGAF. Lead the drafting of High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), ensuring alignment with project objectives. Oversee the assurance of solutions, ensuring adherence to design documents and project requirements. Conduct technical evaluations of bids, collaborating with procurement teams to select suitable solutions. Provide architectural assurance and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular technical meetings with suppliers to monitor project progress and address deviations. Review and approve deliverables, including configuration documents, integrations, and evolving technical documents. Implement a SaaS application that integrates multiple data dimensions, including health and safety, costs, and project schedules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of BIM and CDE practices.
