Responsibilities
Experience in defining the IT Architecture principles for an organization. Deep understanding of Retail Business Processes, including logistics, supply chain, and inventory management. Ability to design architecture from high-level conceptual models down to detailed technical solutions that span customer touchpoints, business processes, and technical systems. Previous involvement in an IT Architecture review board. Proven ability to lead customer teams through the architectural journey. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to find creative solutions. Solid understanding of IT topics with keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Desirable: TOGAF or equivalent certification and exposure to the Supply Chain & Logistics domain. Key Duties
Formulate and align IT strategy with the organization’s business goals, ensuring system architecture efficiency and security. Engage with stakeholders, providing updates on IT design and solution processes and costs. Drive program-wide process optimization to meet short and long-term business goals. Evaluate existing and emerging technologies regularly. Test technical architecture principles and governance frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with non-technical stakeholders. Define Integration Framework and Patterns. Develop implementation roadmaps and plans consisting of target and transition architecture. Provide architectural assurance for ongoing implementations as needed. Connect with subject matter experts in Logistics and Warehousing to identify problem areas. Propose IT solutions to company challenges and ensure comprehensive IT documentation. Partner with teams across various business functions to drive organizational efficiency. Description
