Solutions Architect

Your newpanyLarge public sector organisation with multiple offices across Scotland. They have over 100 in-flight projects and are working to create a new business architecture. You would be joining at a very exciting time for thepany as they continue to grow and adopt new ways of working. They are placing a specific emphasis on their digital and data projects.Your new roleYou will take the lead within the business bymunicatingplex architectural principles to both technical and non-technical staff. Work as part of the technical design team helping to make architectural design decisions. Lead and guide others in creating technical designs that achieve organisational objectives. Mediate between people on difficult architectural decisions. You will be responsible for creating technical designs characterised by medium risk, impact andplexity.What you'll need to succeedHave knowledge of a range of architecture roles, so you can review how the organisation is currently delivering against their solution architecture, data architecture, and technical architecture responsibilities. Demonstrate experience speaking and influencing stakeholders at a variety of different levels. Scottish public sector experience would be an advantage but is not essential. TOGAF certification or have similar experience. You will be used to working in an environment going through significant project changes.What you will get in returnWork with an organisation that is redefining Scotland's approach to one of the most important issues in modern society. A good day rate is on offer for this role with an initial contract length of six months. However, there is a good chance of further extension. Play an important part in designing and shaping the technical direction of thepany moving forward. This is a hybrid role that requires a couple of days a week on-site in Glasgow.
