This role reports to the Solutions Engineering Manager as well as the Vice President of Application Development. Solutions Engineers (SEs) at TransPerfect are passionate about product development, business analysis to scope the requirements for new features and enhancements, and release management. DESCRIPTION

Work with Solutions Engineers and software developers to identify product improvements, focusing on optimizing software architecture and increasing the efficiency of Trial Interactive tech operations escalations. Collaborate with product managers to define technical solutions, build the release backlog, and write functional and technical specifications in the project management system. Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including sprint planning, daily scrums, and technical reviews with development teams. Build, test, and deploy release deliverables, including software patches and major releases, ensuring adherence to software development best practices and standards. Collaborate with technical writers to produce comprehensive release notes and technical documentation. Write detailed technical documentation and operational procedures for newly developed software features and processes. Prepare technical rollout artifacts for the solutions engineering team to ensure seamless software deployment. Create eLearning materials and technical training resources for internal teams related to new software functionalities and technical upgrades. Participate in code reviews, contribute to development frameworks, and ensure best practices are applied across the software lifecycle. Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor. REQUIRED SKILLS

Very strong analytical background and communication skills. Deep knowledge of all aspects of SDLC and release management. Agile process and scrum framework. Experience in multi-tier Web application development. Work experience with distributed teams. Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Superior written and spoken communication skills in English. Proficiency in Aha, JIRA, TestRail, and wireframe tools. Strong work ethic. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a 4-year college. 4 years’ experience in Product Development and Tech Operations Engineering. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Deep understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, IIS, Tomcat, and Web application development. Deep understanding of MSSQL, TSQL, XML, and C#. Experience in SSO solutions. Advanced scripting experience in shell scripts and Python. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work with multiple teams across time zones. Work well with people from various backgrounds and cultures. Build relationships with clients and co-workers. Can work independently and as part of a team. Take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
