Job Title: Sourcing Manager

Contract Type: 6 months Contract

Day Rate: £450 - £550 ** Inside IR35 **

Location: Midlands Or Glasgow (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH)


Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a team of sourcing experts to shape and execute sourcing deals across Non-IT categories, with a specific focus on HR and BPO.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for Non-IT services, primarily focusing on HR, Professional Services, and Business Process Outsourcing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operate flexibly within various categories, with opportunities to support and explore additional Non-IT spend areas, including Talent Acquisition/Development, Resource Augmentation, and audit/advisory, based on business needs.
  • Play an integral role within a high-performing team that manages commercial deals valued at over £X billion annually, delivering top-quality services and mitigating financial and operational risks.
  • Provide strategic category knowledge and negotiation support to secure favorable commercial terms with third-party suppliers, collaborating closely with internal Procurement, Legal, SME functions, and external suppliers.
  • Ensure comprehensive visibility across the sourcing lifecycle, enhancing line of sight on demand, cost, service quality, and risk.
  • Engage actively with the sourcing team to support day-to-day stakeholder management, adhering to policy guidelines and timelines to achieve successful deal outcomes.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Non-IT sourcing, particularly in HR, Professional Services, or BPO.
  • Strong understanding of category management, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external suppliers to deliver consistent, high-quality sourcing solutions.
  • Familiarity with risk and cost management principles to support strategic sourcing and business continuity.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
