Hybrid (1 day in office, the rest remote) Overview: As the Sourcing Manager, your role purpose will be to manage the sourcing activities for multi-million-pound, medium cost, and business risk opportunities, including idea generation and innovation across complex spend categories, and work collaboratively with relevant customers and stakeholders to create and deliver significant commercial and contractual value. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the sourcing process from business requirement to contract signature for multi-million-pound medium cost and business risk opportunities. Implement approved Integrated Category Strategies (ICS) through the development and delivery of the qualified Sourcing pipeline. Apply the Sourcing Framework for sourcing-led opportunities outside of ICS creation, managing all risk, governance, legislative, and regulatory requirements. Negotiate sourcing enabled savings and benefit opportunities in collaboration with customers and stakeholders. Develop and implement sourcing specific ideas and innovation-based business cases. Facilitate the transition of Sourcing led execution to Strategic Supplier Management. Skills and Experience Required: Deep level of Sourcing experience, with a demonstrable track record of savings delivery. Demonstrable negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Experience in contract law and financial management. Experience in driving value from complex sourcing opportunities. Familiarity with agile cross-functional collaborative working methods. Detailed knowledge of the UK Rail Industry, including procurement processes in a reclassified environment. For more information, please apply directly or email:
