Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision parts for the aerospace industry. They are looking to add a SOX & Financial, Planning & Analysis Lead to their team on a permanent basis. This would be a great fit for a meticulous individual who enjoys challenge and variety in their day to day.

This role has a strong emphasis on preparing budgets, forecasts, reports, and analysis. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to gather insights and align on financial objectives, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing executive-level reports that are reviewed by the company presidents, providing key insights to support strategic decision-making.

Knowledge & Experience

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a Financial Planning role and will be at a minimum part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICAS as well as holding a relevant degree or accountancy qualification. Will have experience building financial forecasts covering 3-5 years based on yearly estimates, sales forecasts, and objectives defined by the general management. Able to implement and improve procedures for managing and optimizing financial information flows, guaranteeing their reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills. Experience of working within an accountancy function within a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Negotiation skills. Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly outstanding skills in Excel. Experience in managing SOX compliance and financial controls would be advantageous.
