Job Introduction

In a Nutshell

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Spa Duty Manager to join our team in the award winning Spa here at Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Surrey. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out duty management shifts to assist with the day to day operation of the Spa as well as assisting the Spa Membership Sales Manager with achieving the membership budget with a focus on membership retention.

We operate seven days a week so you need to be flexible with your availability and prepared to work a variety of shifts. The earliest we would need you to start would be 5:30am to open the spa. If you are on the late shift that the latest you would work until would be 10pm to close to the spa.

The Spa Duty Manager will be responsible for…

  • Ensure that the Spa is at its ‘best’ in terms of good housekeeping standards, and that it is running efficiently and effectively
  • Make sure the customer journey throughout the Spa is executed to a high standard, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Champion guest and member services in the Spa
  • To be the face of the Spa, welcoming all members and visitors ensuring you are always available and present in public areas
  • Manage all guest and member feedback communicating to all departments and ensuring all records are kept up to date
  • Assist the Spa Membership Sales Manager with membership retention by organising member events and enhanced membership offering
  • Assist with the control of membership accounts and subscription fees
  • Upselling retail and treatments
  • Drive membership sales alongside the Spa Membership Sales Manager
  • To carry out duty management shifts
The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

  • You will be passionate about delivering professional, efficient and exceptional guest service at all times and will possess strong organisational skills.
  • You will have Industry relevant qualifications to include degree, HND or Advanced GNVQ
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Supervisory role within a similar environment with experience of training and development, systems and processes, IT skills, financial acumen, guest services and management of Health and Safety.
  • Work with flexibility and enthusiasm for the profession.
